Does anyone other then me miss the older Legos and K'nex?

I know when i was young it was hard, but the newer stuff is just so lame and boring! I remember my best friend got a 2000 piece lego tank that took us 3 days to finish when we were 10! But now nothing goes over 1000.. Anyone know where I can buy some of the older types?
