About Sony NEX-5 lenses?

I'm planning to buy a Sony NEX5. I'm planning to take it on camping trips and shoot some sceneries. Should I get both the 16mm lens and the 18-55mm lens? or is the 16mm lens enough? I've read some bad reviews about the 18-55 lens so i'm thinking of not getting it. BTW, I don't know much about photography and lenses. Hope someone could help me.
