Kate Middleton the People's Princess?

Do you agree with this image of Kate as a down to earth girl?I mean,as lovely as she can be,they are trying to portrait her as the girl nex door who's the living proof of a fairy tale romance,but she might not have blue blood,but she's still a woman who comes from a wealthy family and could afford to sit without having the trouble of getting a real job for something like 8years.To me it looks a bit more like "posh and rich girl happens to meet a prince" and it does sound a bit different from "stairbucks waitress gets engaged to prince after serving him a cappuccino".Do they really think that people are fool enough to believe this??
