What is this slimy watery cover of my eye (the white surrounding area, not the brown circle in the middle)?

since a few days ago, i noticed that outer surface of my eye(the white part) got slimy and watery and when i move eyeball around to look side, those slimy part gets wrinkled. i don't have any pain. i'm gonna wait a wk and if not going away, i'll see eye doctor. But, anyone knows what it is? i looked into google, common eye diseases and couldn't find any picture matching my issue. will it go away on its own? is it something serious? thanks
