Should I leave or Should I go?

My boyfriend and i have a 3month old together and he spend time with us maybe once every two weeks or so. I support her financially and i take care of her physically,, and emotionally. I have nojob, but I have been looking. He has no legal job and does not bother looking. instead he hangs with his friends and smoke all day. I love him so i try to make things work. he never watch her overnight or during the day. he is always gone, he ask for us to spend the night at times and take us home in the morning. he is a great father when he is around, although thats very often. We are 19years old. He goes shopping for his self frequently but not for our child. he has bought her pampers wipes and a carseat throughout her 3mnths of life. Am i being ungrateful, is it to early 2 determine he is not a good father, should i leave or go?
