When i turned on my camera, i cant take any photos?

What happens when you press the shutter? Does some light come on or start blinking? If so, look it up in your manual to see what it means. You might have the flash enabled and it isn't charged up yet. Always start with new or recharged batteries. Charge them in accordance with your manual. If all else fails, contact Sony and find out how good your warranty is.
